Tibbs Selected Top Performer in AA NE Monday, August 25th , 2025 James Tibbs is respected by most Altoona Curve fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Double-A Northeast Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .444 average (12-for-27) with 1 home run, 14 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Tibbs currently has a .326 batting average with 126 hits, 6 homers, 68 RBIs, 60 runs scored and a .400 OBP. |
