The Akron center fielder made Bowie defenders earn their pay, lashing Bowie pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it." "Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Muzziotti said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch." Simon Muzziotti doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, hit a two-run triple in the 8th and doubled in the 9th.
