Arroyo Belts Bunch of Base Hits Wednesday, September 10th , 2025 Edwin Arroyo was on fire, sparking his club to a win, 15-8, over the RubberDucks. The Portland second baseman was a tough out and went 5-for-6 against Akron in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in." Edwin Arroyo hit a two-run single in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, doubled in the 8th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Thus far in 2025, Arroyo is hitting .340 with 7 home runs, 75 RBIs, 57 runs scored and has compiled a .383 OBP. |
