Hitting Streak Still Alive for Muzziotti Saturday, September 13th , 2025 Simon Muzziotti has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 26-year-old Akron RubberDucks center fielder extended his streak to 20 games, going 3-for-5 as Akron got the best of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, 4-3. "Simon has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," RubberDucks manager said. Simon Muzziotti grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Muzziotti is currently hitting at a .365 pace with 5 home runs and 80 RBIs. |
