Star of the Week Picked in AA NE Monday, May 27th , 2024 Chandler Simpson burst onto the Double-A Northeast stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie second baseman for Binghamton garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 23-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .500 (17-for-34) with no home runs and 2 RBIs last week. Thus far this season, Simpson is hitting .322 with no home runs, 10 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 56 hits in 174 at-bats and has played in 44 games. |
