Moreno Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Wednesday, June 26th , 2024 Gabriel Moreno ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games at The Diamond, when he collected 2 hits in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Akron RubberDucks dropped the game, 5-2, to the Richmond Flying Squirrels. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Moreno said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Gabriel Moreno hit an RBI single in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. Moreno has a .386 average and a .483 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 88 hits, 2 home runs and driven in 43 runs. |
