Cedrola Keeps Hit Streak Alive Saturday, August 3rd , 2024 Lorenzo Cedrola ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games at People's Natural Gas Field, when he collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Hartford Yard Goats dropped the game, 6-5, to the Altoona Curve. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Cedrola said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Lorenzo Cedrola flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a sac fly in the 8th. To date, Cedrola has collected 86 hits for a .307 average. He has posted 3 home runs, scored 44 runs and driven in 29 runs. |
