Cedrola 20-Game Hitting Streak Ends Sunday, August 4th , 2024 The streak has been snapped. Lorenzo Cedrola failed to get a hit in today's game against the Altoona Curve, bringing his 20-game hitting spree to an end. The 26-year-old Hartford center fielder was 0-for-1, but the Yard Goats got the win and defeated the Curve, 6-5. "I'm not disappointed at all -- I had a great run," Cedrola said. "I got to 20 games. I got my name into an elite group with a bunch of good ballplayers. What's there to complain about?" So far this season, Cedrola is batting .306 with 3 home runs. |
