Jones Collects Cycle Friday, August 30th , 2024 Spencer Jones had a day to remember at FNB Field, but the memory will be bittersweet. Even though Jones hit for the cycle, his Harrisburg Senators still fell to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 13-11. The 23-year-old right fielder went 4-for-5 with 1 RBI and 4 runs scored in the loss. "It's a heartbreaker for Spencer," said Harrisburg manager . "He deserved to get a win after a day like that." Spencer Jones hit a solo-shot off Alejandro Hidalgo in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. At the moment, Jones is batting .287 with 5 home runs and 49 RBIs. He has played in 94 games and scored 55 times. |
