He excelled with a 5-0 mark and 2.23 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 32.1 innings, fanned 48 and held others clubs to a .221 average. That's why the Senators star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the Double-A Northeast. Thus far this season, Torres has posted a 8-6 record, started 26 games, struck out 204 batters in 132.1 innings and compiled a 3.74 ERA. |
