Best AA NE Reliever Named Sunday, September 29th , 2024 His manager and teammates call Pedro Fernandez a true bullpen ace. The Double-A Northeast calls him the winner of the Reliever of the Year for 2024. The Altoona Curve relief specialist out of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, won the award with 34 saves in 53 relief appearances, 72 strikeouts in 57 innings and 15 walks. He compiled a record of 6 wins and 3 losses and had a 1.42 ERA. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Andrew Bellatti of the Portland Sea Dogs finished second in voting, while Jordan Holloway of the Reading Fightin Phils finished third.
