Martinez Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Tuesday, August 26th , 2025 Dunedin left fielder Gabriel Martinez keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 2 hits at TD Ballpark. The Blue Jays earned the 2-1 victory over the Tampa Tarpons. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Martinez said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Gabriel Martinez singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, walked in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this season, Martinez is hitting .442 with 12 home runs. |
