Escobar Slaps 5 Hits Friday, September 5th , 2025 Aroon Escobar had an answer for everything the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels threw at him at TD Ballpark. The Dunedin third baseman went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Blue Jays a win, 17-1. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Escobar said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Aroon Escobar singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. For the year, Escobar has hit at a .353 clip with 82 RBIs, 10 home runs and 141 runs scored. |
