Cespedes Hits in 25 Consecutive Games Thursday, September 11th , 2025 Nobody has been able to shut down Lakeland Flying Tigers third baseman Yoeilin Cespedes in recent days. The Palm Beach Cardinals fared no better than the rest. Today at Joker Marchant Stadium, Cespedes picked up 2 hits in 5 at-bats en route to a win, 5-1. It stretched his hitting string to 25 consecutive games. Yoeilin Cespedes grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 8th. Cespedes is batting at a .411 pace this season, picking up 161 hits in 392 at-bats with 4 home runs, 75 RBIs and 92 runs scored. |
