A SE Premier Player Picked Monday, June 2nd , 2025 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Lakeland's Yolfran Castillo put up last week were the envy of the league, as Castillo came away with Low-A Southeast Player of the Week honors. He belted out 15 hits in 25 at-bats, no home runs and 8 RBIs last week as he posted his .600 batting average. This year, Castillo is hitting .531 with no home runs and 9 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .600 clip and scored 7 runs. |
