Evans Sizzles -- Smokes Skeeters for 5 Hits

It takes more than one player to win a baseball game - as proven by Phillip Evans of the Oklahoma City Dodgers.
The Oklahoma City third baseman gave it his all and dominated Sugar Land Skeeters pitching today at Constellation Field, finishing with a great 5-for-5 line. However, when the game ended, the scoreboard showed the Skeeters going home the winner, 5-4.
"There's no point gloating about a 5-hit day in a loss," Evans said later. "A loss just means you should have done more. Maybe I should have hit 5 home runs instead."
Phillip Evans singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
Presently Evans is batting .267 and has collected 3 home runs, 24 RBIs, .332 OBP and scored 20 runs.
