Cesar Prieto said the annual all-star game is mostly for the fans to enjoy, but the players have a lot of fun too.
"It's a great time to get that much talent on one ball diamond," he said. "You feel fortunate to even be part of it."
Prieto wasn't just a part of the game, he was named the game MVP, as his West Division All-Stars won 4-1 over the East Division All-Stars.
Prieto went 3 for 4 in the game to earn the nod as the game's best.
Prieto is hitting .310 lifetime with 237 hits, 44 doubles, 5 triples, 24 home runs, and 135 RBIs to date. He has scored 109 runs, walked 61 times and has a .373 OBP.
