Unknown had his good stuff and good location and that was good enough to chalk up a Athletics Gold victory. He gave up 4 hits in the game and issued no walks in a strong performance.

17 Ks for Unknown, Beats Milwaukee (AZL) 4-0

Everything was working for Jim Unknown at Goodyear Ballpark. He had the perfect delivery. The ball was moving. The splitter was working.
In an unforgettable performance, the 19-year-old Unknown fanned 17 Brewers Gold and sparked the 4-0 Cincinnati (AZL) Reds victory over Milwaukee (AZL). He left Brewers Gold hitters mumbling and muttering at the plate. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it.
"I don't know if there are many times that I've seen him throw better," said Cincinnati (AZL) manager . "His location and command were really something."
In addition to collecting 17 strikeouts over 8 innings, Unknown allowed 3 hits and 1 walk in a superlative outing.
"I thought I'd make it easy on the guys today," Unknown said with a smile.
