Gorski Rips Rochester for 5 Hits Friday, August 22nd , 2025 No matter what the Rochester Red Wings threw him, Matt Gorski hit it. The 27-year-old Syracuse Mets right fielder racked up 5 hits in 8 at-bats at NBT Bank Stadium and led the Mets to a win, 31-5. Matt Gorski hit a three-run home run off Joe Rock in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. Currently Gorski is batting .338 with 9 home runs and 31 RBIs. |
