Mears Named AAA E Batter of the Month Monday, September 1st , 2025 When Joshua Mears stepped up to the plate in August he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Triple-A East Batter of the Month award. The young Columbus right fielder posted a .354 batting average with 15 home runs, 36 RBIs and scored 25 runs. Mears also worked pitchers for 11 walks to post a .426 on-base percentage. So far in 2025 Mears is batting .310 with 34 home runs, 93 RBIs and 65 runs scored. He has 94 hits in 303 at-bats and a .393 OBP. |
