Pereira Slams 3 Homers for Mets Wednesday, September 3rd , 2025 Whatever Everson Pereira ate for breakfast before his game against the Buffalo Bisons, it gave him some impressive power. The Syracuse center fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at NBT Bank Stadium. His home run barrage helped the Mets defeat the Bisons, 17-6. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 4-for-6, scored 4 times, drove in 8 and put on a display that history will remember. Everson Pereira hit a solo-shot off Quinn Mathews in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Quinn Mathews in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th. This season, Pereira is batting .376 with 67 hits, 16 home runs, 45 RBIs, 21 walks, .451 OBP and has scored 53 runs. He has played in 45 games. |
