Omaha Wins Round 1 Thursday, September 18th , 2025 With a 6-5 win to wrap up the series at PNC Field, the Omaha Storm Chasers have eliminated the Scranton WB RailRiders in the Round 1 and move on to the Round 2. Omaha controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 3-0 sweep. Blaze Jordan led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .462 batting average, along with a .462 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs. "We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish." The Omaha Storm Chasers will play against the Louisville Bats in the next round. Louisville won their series against the Charlotte Knights 3 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
