Mud Hens Ace Giolito Cops Outstanding Pitcher Award Sunday, October 15th , 2023 The Triple-A East Outstanding Pitcher Award winner has been chosen and the trophy goes to Toledo hurler Lucas Giolito for his outstanding season in 2023. Giolito was quite impressive with a 13-9 record and a 2.33 ERA. In 28 starts and 208.2 innings, he struck out 161 and gave up 168 hits and 49 walks. Teams hit .222 against him. He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 20. Brayan Bello of the Rochester Red Wings finished second in voting, while Keyvius Sampson of the Rochester Red Wings finished third.
