Adams Rips Memphis for 6 Hits Sunday, June 22nd , 2025 Columbus center fielder Jordyn Adams could do no wrong in his team's 15-7 win over the Redbirds, as he collected 6 hits. "Things were in his favor in every one of his at-bats," Redbirds skipper said to the press corps after the game. "He got hitters' counts." Adams agreed, saying that getting ahead early in the counts was "the key" to his game. "Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit," he said. "You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Jordyn Adams singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Adams is hitting .330 for the season with 7 home runs, 49 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has 72 hits in 218 at-bats and played in 58 games. |
