Mesa Jr. Rips Syracuse for 5 Hits Wednesday, July 9th , 2025 Lehigh Valley IronPigs right fielder Victor Mesa Jr. went ballistic with the bat. He hammered the Syracuse Mets for 5 hits to help Lehigh Valley win, 27-3, over Syracuse at NBT Bank Stadium. Victor Mesa Jr. hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this year, Mesa Jr. is hitting .315 with 5 home runs, 27 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
