Ritter Booms 3 Homers Thursday, July 10th , 2025 Ryan Ritter was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 13-2 Louisville Bats triumph at Louisville Slugger Field. The 24-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Bats past the St. Paul Saints. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Ritter told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The shortstop went 4-for-5, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Ryan Ritter grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Michael McGreevy in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 8th. So far this season, Ritter has recorded a .347 batting average with 103 hits, 15 home runs, 68 RBIs, 68 runs scored and a .438 OBP. |
