Barrage of Hits Gets Loperfido AAA E Award Monday, July 28th , 2025 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Gwinnett's Joey Loperfido put up last week were the envy of the league, as Loperfido came away with Triple-A East Player of the Week honors. He belted out 14 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs and 8 RBIs last week as he posted his .560 batting average. For the season, Loperfido is batting .335 with 77 hits and 16 home runs. He has scored 40 times and batted in 48. |
