Burdick Catches up on Yard Work -- Slams 4 Homers

Peyton Burdick of the Columbus Clippers had a history-making game against the Memphis Redbirds, clobbering 4 home runs in an awesome display of power in the 30-12 Clippers victory.
The Columbus right fielder went 6-for-6, had 13 RBIs and scored 6 times in the game.
"There have been a few times when I consciously tried to hit one out," said Burdick later. "It doesn't often work, but it did today for the last one. I guess this day was just meant to be."
Peyton Burdick hit a two-run home run off Jordan Wicks in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Brendan Beck in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th.
This season, Burdick has hit at a .429 clip and produced 17 RBI, 6 home runs and 9 runs.
