Brieske Spins No-Hitter Against Buffalo Saturday, June 8th , 2024 In a dominant outing, Beau Brieske of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs totally silenced the bats of the Buffalo Bisons, finishing with a no-hitter. In the 6-0 victory, Brieske faced only 29 batters, surrendered no hits, had 8 strikeouts and 2 walks. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Lehigh Valley manager said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager had a "pretty simple" analysis of the game. "The IronPigs had all the hits and all the runs, so they won," he snapped. "But yeah, Brieske pitched a heck of a ballgame." On the season, Brieske has 8 wins and 1 loss and a 3.45 ERA. |
