Iowa Sits Atop Midwest Division Friday, August 23rd , 2024 The Iowa Cubs stood out amongst the competition in the Midwest Division this season and can now lay claim to having officially clinched the division title. It is the 1st time the club has won its division and they will be vying for the 1st Round 3 in franchise history. "Proud of everyone in the room," is how shortstop Emmanuel Rivera described his feeling after the clinch. "We're number one now, but we need to make sure it stays that way when the playoffs are said and done." |
