Burdick Sizzles -- Smokes Bulls for 5 Hits Wednesday, August 28th , 2024 No matter what the Durham Bulls threw him, Peyton Burdick hit it. The 27-year-old Columbus Clippers right fielder racked up 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Huntington Park and led the Clippers to a win, 14-1. Peyton Burdick hit a solo-shot off Avery Weems in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Edwar Colina in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and singled in the 7th. In 2024 Burdick has hit at a .268 clip with 122 hits, 31 home runs, 86 RBIs and has scored 117 times. |
