Knights Heading to Round 3 Friday, September 20th , 2024 Charlotte Knights won a nail-biting series against the Iowa Cubs 3-2, wrapping up the Round 2 finale 4-1 at Truist Field. Knights first baseman Nathaniel Lowe was named the series MVP. He batted .250, drove in 9 runs and scored 5 to lead Charlotte into the next round of play. "Nathaniel was real solid for us, real solid," said Knights manager . "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time." The Charlotte Knights will play against the Buffalo Bisons in the next round. Buffalo won their series against the Columbus Clippers 3 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.. |
