Castillo Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Wednesday, July 26th , 2023 The Oklahoma City Dodgers fell to the Sugar Land Skeeters in Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark today, even as 25-year-old second baseman Diego Castillo upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Castillo finished with 2 hits in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Dodgers from dropping the 8-2 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Castillo. Diego Castillo grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. For the season, Castillo is hitting at a .317 clip with 10 home runs, 49 RBIs and has scored 54 runs. He has 107 hits, 29 walks and a .385 on-base percentage. |
