Perkins Has 30-Game Hitting Streak Thursday, August 14th , 2025 Blake Perkins of the Sugar Land Skeeters extended his hitting streak to 30 straight games with 3 hits in today's 26-5 triumph over the Tacoma Rainiers at Constellation Field. "Blake has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Skeeters manager joked after the game. Blake Perkins grounded out in the 1st, hit a sac fly in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, struck out in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. Currently Perkins is hitting .367 and has collected 11 home runs, 54 RBIs and scored 90 times, while playing in 75 games. |
