Florial Goes Cycling Thursday, August 14th , 2025 In an outing that will go down in the annals of league history, Reno left fielder Estevan Florial hit for the cycle, as the Aces marched to victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes, 7-2. Florial collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, including 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. He added 3 runs batted in and 2 runs scored to help Reno take the Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park contest. "It was the last thing on my mind, really," Florial said. "I'm out there trying to get a blooper or a walk or whatever might help the team. Even if I had wanted to, hitting for the cycle is probably as much about luck as about skill anyway." Estevan Florial singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Grant Gambrell in the 9th. Currently Florial is batting .290 with 23 home runs and 63 RBIs. |
