Siri Goes on Rampage Against Express
Thursday, August 14th , 2025
Jose Siri knows as well as anyone that in baseball, the biggest contracts go to the biggest hitters. At Las Vegas Ballpark, he made his case to be considered among that group.
The 30-year-old center fielder hammered 5 hits in 5 chances, though the remarkable effort came even as his Las Vegas Aviators fell, 15-10, to the Round Rock Express.
"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," Express manager told BNN sportswriters after the game. "Thankfully, we were able to do enough elsewhere that Siri wasn't the difference."
Jose Siri singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Lyon Richardson in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Lyon Richardson in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
