AAA W Announces August's Best Starter Monday, September 1st , 2025 When the River Cats skipper wrote Allen on the lineup card, it was a bad omen for the opposition. Outing after outing in August he took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 5-0 mark and 1.60 ERA in 6 starts. The gifted River Cats star pitched 39.1 innings, fanned 35 and held opposing teams to a .152 average. For his excellent mound work Allen was named the AAA W Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. This season to date, Allen has a record of 10 wins and 2 losses with a 4.66 ERA, has appeared in 22 games and struck out 105 in 114 innings. |
