Leyba Raps Las Vegas for 5 Hits Monday, May 12th , 2025 Domingo Leyba was on fire, sparking his club to a win, 17-2, over the Aviators. The Sugar Land second baseman was a tough out and went 5-for-6 against Las Vegas in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in." Domingo Leyba struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th, singled in the 7th and tripled in the 9th. This season, Leyba has delivered 15 hits in 36 at-bats for a .417 average with 4 home runs. He is getting on base at a .588 clip and his totals also include 14 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
