5-for-7 Day for Stowers Thursday, September 4th , 2025 5 times is the charm -- at least for Kyle Stowers. The Sugar Land Skeeters left fielder tore up the Reno Aces to the tune of 5 hits in 7 at-bats at Greater Nevada Field. The offensive onslaught from Stowers powered the 26-4 Skeeters win. "Stowers was a tough out," Reno manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Kyle Stowers singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. So far on the season, Stowers is hitting .313 with 40 home runs, 151 RBIs and 136 runs scored. He has 149 hits and played in 117 games. |
