Castillo Tags Chihuahuas for 5 Hits Saturday, July 12th , 2025 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Oklahoma City's Diego Castillo made it happen against the Chihuahuas. Everything came together at the plate for the 27-year-old third baseman as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Dodgers triumph, 13-0, at Southwest University park. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Castillo said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Diego Castillo singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. Castillo is currently batting .295 with 6 home runs and 26 RBIs. |
