Cabbage Picked AAA W Player of the Week Monday, July 14th , 2025 Sugar Land fans have something to crow about today as Sugar Land right fielder Trey Cabbage nabbed the Triple-A West Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Cabbage. He posted a .379 average (11-for-29) this past week with 6 home runs, 16 RBIs, and 11 runs scored. This year, Cabbage is hitting .368, produced 102 RBIs and 38 home runs, scored 107 times and gotten on base at a .469 rate. |
