Great Day for Vivas -- 5 Hits Tuesday, July 29th , 2025 Jorbit Vivas was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Southwest University park, the Sugar Land third baseman blistered the El Paso Chihuahuas for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a good 18-6 victory. "Vivas was too tough to get out," Chihuahuas skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Jorbit Vivas hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. This season, Vivas is batting .388 with 108 hits, 15 home runs, 85 RBIs, .499 OBP and has scored 85 runs. |
