Isotopes Capture East Division Wednesday, September 11th , 2024 Grown men turned into little boys in the Albuquerque Isotopes clubhouse, as the realization set in: the club had clinched the East Division. "We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said the club's manager. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season." The club has a 101-38 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 2nd Round 1 championship. First Baseman Rowdy Tellez said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 2nd division title, but added that "we won't be happy until we're lifting that trophy." |
