Mack on a Rampage, Hits for Cycle Tuesday, August 19th , 2025 At Toyota Field, Joe Mack led Rocket City to a win, 7-1, over the Montgomery Biscuits by hitting for the cycle, one of baseball's more difficult feats. "Usually the triple is the hardest one to get, but I was most worried about the homer today because the ball wasn't carrying," Mack said later. "When I took it deep, I was expecting the ball to die on the warning track, so it was sweet seeing the ump give me the signal to circle the bases." In addition to going 4-for-4, Mack chalked up 3 RBI and scored 3 runs in an exceptional performance. Joe Mack hit an RBI triple in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jonah Tong in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Thus far this season in 99 games, Mack is batting .365 with 8 home runs, 68 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has 141 hits in 386 at-bats. |
