Barrage of Hits Gets Rocchio AA S Award Monday, September 8th , 2025 One of the league's most exciting young players, Brayan Rocchio of the Mississippi Braves earned himself Double-A South Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 24-year-old shortstop had a lofty .444 average (12-for-27), collecting no home runs, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Rocchio is batting .355 this year with 7 home runs, 78 RBIs and 96 runs scored. He has 193 hits in 544 at-bats. |
