Martinez Week's Top Player Monday, May 5th , 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, Angel Martinez was in a class by himself in the Double-A South this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding left fielder for Montgomery tagged opposing pitchers for a .517 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 15 hits in 29 at-bats, 1 homers, 5 runs scored and 4 RBIs. So far on the season, Martinez is hitting .359 with 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has 28 hits and played in 18 games. |
