Hernaiz Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Saturday, August 16th , 2025 Darell Hernaiz's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The San Antonio second baseman smacked 2 hits against the Frisco RoughRiders in today's game at Dr. Pepper Ballpark, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Missions drop the game, 5-3. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Darell Hernaiz singled in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and walked in the 9th. This season, Hernaiz has 5 home runs and a .351 batting average. |
