Young Star Helps Propel North Division to Win in Midseason Classic

All-Star Wichita Wind Surge's third baseman Deyvison De Los Santos had a night to remember.

Not only did he take the field with the game's best players, he was also a huge factor in the 5-2 North Division victory over the South Division All-Stars.

"We had a meeting before the game, and I was struck by the talent in the room. Old stars, young stars, it's a game I'll never forget," De Los Santos said. "I talked to a few of my friends from back home, and they told me to go out and win the game for them. I'm sure they'll be thrilled."

In his career, De Los Santos has accumulated a .323 batting average with 289 hits. His totals include 41 doubles, 2 triples, 31 home runs, 304 strikeouts, 120 runs scored, 152 RBIs and a lifetime .375 OBP.
