Double-A Central Selects Best Performer Monday, May 19th , 2025 Frisco fans have something to crow about today as Frisco right fielder Cole Carrigg nabbed the Double-A Central Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Carrigg. He posted a .480 average (12-for-25) this past week with 4 home runs, 5 RBIs, and 5 runs scored. This season, Carrigg is swinging the bat at a .349 pace. He has hit 8 home runs and scored 20 times, while driving in 17. His on-base percentage is .383 and he has played in 32 games. |
