Double-A Central Announces #1 Player Monday, September 9th , 2024 Darell Hernaiz is respected by most San Antonio Missions fans for his no-frills style of play. The 23-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Double-A Central Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .474 average (9-for-19) with 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year, Hernaiz is hitting .355 with 5 home runs and 85 RBIs in 130 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .421 with 42 walks and 64 runs scored. |
